To help remove the compression, we adopt a unique and tailored approach which references traditional Sports Massage alongside Reflexology and Myofascial Release Therapy. The MMP Massage approach resembles an Active Release Therapy or Structural Integration Therapy that relies on adaptations of osteopathic techniques, and cranial-sacral techniques to release areas of muscular holding that are keeping a person “held” or trapped in the rigid pattern that is ones disease pattern.
The main areas of focus are the Piriformis, the muscles of the Jaw, the Trapezius and the Feet. There is no focus on the digestive system at all during massage (when we release energy locks in the hips and back, re-regulation of the digestive system is natural).
The key in all massage is to help promote blood flow by removing all of the energy locks that prevent the blood from entering the viscera. Once the contained charge is free to enter the centre of the body again, organ function improves and the body is one ‘all systems go’ biological organism.
This is an ancient decompression technique we provide when there is a permanent or hard to remove rigid plate of tense muscular fascia covering the middle and upper back. It is both a detoxification protocol and a muscular decompression therapy that many will benefit from.
